Ice machine life and method of use

Spelor focuses on the routine maintenance of ice makers. Repairing an ice maker requires finding a professional company and technician with in-depth knowledge of its functions. Sometimes, insufficient refrigerant can prevent it from starting, while easily damaged parts can cause unnecessary losses for users. Now let's discuss the maintenance of ice makers:

1: Regularly clean the water lines and nozzles, typically every six months, with the specific frequency depending on local water quality.

Clogged water lines and nozzles can easily lead to premature compressor failure, so pay close attention.

2: Regularly clean the condenser and filter, typically every three months, to ensure smooth heating.

Excessive condenser expansion can also easily lead to premature compressor failure, which is more harmful than water line blockage.

We often find that some customers place their ice makers in overly cramped spaces, causing premature compressor failure. A minimum of 50 cm must be maintained around the heater at the back of the ice maker to ensure air circulation.

3: Regularly replace the water filter, generally every two months, with the specific frequency depending on local water quality.

If the water filter is not replaced for a long time, it will breed a large number of bacteria and toxins, affecting human health.

4: Regularly check the working status of the ice maker. If any abnormality is found, please unplug the power immediately.

If you find any unusual odor, abnormal noise, or water leakage from the ice maker, please immediately disconnect the power and close the water inlet valve.
